Do they have regular firmware or tool updates, I read on there forum people have issues with community created modules, I have used kali on laptop I had it on netbook for its size i checked fruity out previously buy never used it i prefer kali on the Raspberry pi because of constant update and big community support I guess Raspberry pi would be a flexible option
Or kali on raspberry pi.
I have the wifi pineapple and do use it on wireless testing engagements. It is a good tool to have when performing wireless testing but also get a alfa antennas as well.
Once the pineapple is connected you can use the web interface to interact with it. It works good just make sure you keep it updated. One thing to remember about modules is that once you download them also check that the dependencies have been downloaded as well as it is not automate. I believe the pineapple is suited for all skill levels.Does the GUI work flawlessly including Modules and which configurations have you used in, and is it suited for all skill levels and huge fan myself of Alfa cards
in your opinion which one is better wifi pineapple or raspberry pi 3 b+ with kali linux and two RTL8812AU cardsOnce the pineapple is connected you can use the web interface to interact with it. With the Alfa cards you can do some amazing things like attack WPA Enterprise etc etc.
Personally I would go with the wifi pineapple as the modules are easy to download, install and use.in your opinion which one is better wifi pineapple or raspberry pi 3 b+ with kali linux and two RTL8812AU cards
There have been regular updates to the firmware recently. I have the Tetra pineapple, lan turtle, bash bunny and rubber ducky.Yes community updated modules will always be an issue. Fruity works nice as is, however, don't expect a-lot of updates or real support when you have issues.
You cant get the 3+ here yetPersonally I would go with the wifi pineapple as the modules are easy to download, install and use.
I have a Pineapple Nano i got last year. Sits in my drawer mainly because i've been too busy to use it but plan to give it more attention in Dec.
I do have Pineapple Mark V thats been sitting in the drawer even longer! If you want it to try it out just pay for shipping. Prob better to let it be used than gather dust over the years.
Ahh nice nice I like the Pi + pineapple idea. I will definitely look into that. My need tool that I need is a rubber ducky. You cant get the 3+ here yet
The hak5 pineapple is a piece in your pen testing suite, not the whole thing. By just itself, its basically a fancy router, with the modules it becomes a very powerful penn testing tool.
I have a raspberry pi attached to my pineapple. I run the pi off the usb slot on the pineapple. This allows me to pass off things like meterpreter sessions to it .
Personally, some of my favorite stuff from hak5 is the bashbunny and rubber ducky. Those get you into so many places...
