Half-bridge mode blocked?

About a month ago, half-bridge mode just suddenly stopped working. Is it possible that Telkom could be blocking it?

I've tested with 3 ISP accounts as well as the Telkom guest account. When I select "Bridge PPPoE Frames Between WAN and Local Ports" and click "Save/Apply", the router does not connect. The moment I unselect it, I am able to connect.

Like I said, this started roughly a month ago.

P.S. I've been using half-bridge mode for years now and I have tested it on two routers.

Yes I have. My 2 year old TP-Link TD-W8960N as well as my brand new TD-W8968.

The TD-W8960N never had a problem with half-bridge until about a month ago. That was part of the reason why I bought a new router.
