Halo Infinite multiplayer

See now this is fun, I might actually buy the battlepass now that's how much fun I'm having, we're even getting American people on our servers now, I had someone from Ohio in my team earlier.
 
As I got into bed last night I realized how insane this fix actually is and it doesn't work at all like I thought it does, I thought all it does is makes it so you only search for ZA lobbies but what it actually does is pull people from whatever region onto our servers.

So the game still does its normal SBMM search to find similar people but then because ZA is the only region that 8/8 players can connect to it pulls those 7 other players onto our servers which is honestly one of the craziest things I've ever heard. I imagine this is what it must feel like to be uber-rich, the game is literally finding people for me to play with and they're forced to do it on the server I want.
 
hosts fix working flawlessly, local games every time now :thumbsup:

This is so silly they should just allow a datacenter selection option..
 
This is my new favorite game and this fix for local servers made it 100 times better

Hopefully MS allows you to choose your DC in the future

We are still in beta :)

I kind of don't want them to fix it now with this in place, if they add region select you will only get the ZA playerbase but with this fix everyone is your playerbase.

With this you can search at 3am and find a game, search at anytime of day and find a game.

100 percent true. They should remove reddit post lol
 
After only playing ZA now for however long trying to add EU for a bit and it's such a gigantic difference, on the 180ms EU ping I snipe someone, nothing happens and then suddenly they die.

Either 340ms or 160ms, everyone with BR in the name is from Brazil.

On one hand, I feel bad for pulling people but on the other hand, now they know what we feel like in pretty much every game we play.

Doesn't them having a high ping affect you in anyway though? I actually gave up on the game when I wasn't able to get back onto local servers, but since I found this fix I'm gonna give it another go again because that one local game I played was so much fun

They see the high ping and disconnect.
