hamachi help

every time i want to connect using hamachi to my home pc it brings up a windows login page. must i first creat a guest account on the pc i want to connect to? any help is appreciated.thanx

hamachi provides a secure connection between computers, however your standard windows authentication is still enforced. whatever credentials you use to access your pc over the network at home can be used to login to your pc over hamachi. you can always add your remote pc user as a user on your home pc via computer management

i don't use any password to log on..that's my problem i have NO idea what password to use

If you don't have a password, the password is blank. To find out your username, goto User Accounts in the control pannel. There will be guest, and the account you use.

What can help as well is to give both PC's passwords for the accounts you login with in User Accounts. then you use the username and password you login with on the other PC.
