So, from sometime over the weekend, till now, it appears that the Hammarsdale area has no water supply.
In discussion with Ethekwini Water - the reservoir has run dry - but no logical explanation has been offered.
It may be the pumps failed or that the pipes burst - it may be the dam levels?
At best, they tell us that .... maybe ... there will be supply later today.
I have closed the factory - but Rainbow Chickens et al in the area must be running at a fat loss.
Anyone close to this? Anyone have more news on this?
