I'll keep the updated setup in this first post if I make any changes.
Location: the Northern parts Netherlands so we're operating on less sun than in South Africa and seasons are swapped.
Panels: 10x Longi LR6-60PB-300M
Inverter: SolarEdge SE300H
No batteries at this stage as excess power is fed back into grid which lowers total cost, but that party is ending in 2025 I believe so batteries may be useful.
That said, we work from home so it's debatable whether or not it will be worthwhile especially if you take into account the dark winter months where daily production often less than 500 Wh (17 Dec was 17 Wh for the day).
Yearly we are looking at a total of ~ 3 MWh.
