Need idea's for something I can do with my new woman..pref not dinner kinda thing but at the same time something that will give us a chance to talk while keeping us busy if the convo runs dry...:confused:

Unique idea's are encouraged. Date/Hangout is tonite.
 
If you are in Jozi - Joe Parkers @ Monte (avoid free mic-night) is okay - drinks and a bit of a side show. Otherwise take her for drinks/round of pool @ Stones (opposite Monte). If you really want to wow her - hit Moyo's @ Melrose (and ask for one of those secluded corner tables).

The library where you can learn to spell ideas without an apostrophe.

Failing that, go with Monte and try go up in the balloon. I can't (terrified!) but it looks like fun. East Rand try Rodizzio (sp) in Bedfordview or even Melrose Arch has a few nice places (but a few pretentious ones as well).

West Rand I do not know too well but I have had great food more than once at EAT in El Boro centre or whatever it is called in Northcliff.

The South I have not been anywhere there in years.
 
Tough call.... personally I'm all about nature, or nature-ish. If you're in the WC therefore I'd suggest a wine farm like Vergelegen where you can walk around the grounds and talk as well as eat a good meal. Also you need to learn how not to let conversations run dry :p it's not that hard to find something to talk about.
