Hard cases for laptops, what are my options?

Hi all
I'm looking for hard cases for 15 inch work laptops, something which will be able to offer good protection and take a bit of a beating, with in reason of course.
I don't want to throagh them off mountains or drive over them with trucks, I just need something which would offer more protection than your average soft laptop bag.
I know Pelican make decent cases but looks like their laptop options start around R2000, this is a bit too expensive, I was thinking to spend more in the region of R1000 or less.

Are there other options I can look at?

Think Thule make something like that, hard case all round, the one I saw was really nice, R1k+ though, nothing decent that fits that bill will be cheap.
 
I looked at the Thule stuff, haven't really seen a lot of prices yet, but looks like they are more in the R1000 range which wood be quite acceptable.
