Hard drive help needed

I have a crashed IBM Deskstar model: IC35L020AVVN07-0 20GB

NOT SPINNING UP
QUESTION IS how to get this drive to work for a while at least to get some data off it?

nope - you are pretty buggered. Had the same problem recently myself. Only way to do it, is to get an identical drive that works and swap the controller boards. Most data recovery services are expensive and rely on the drive actually spinning up

i have a similar drive but its a 30gb the last3 digits of ser. number are different.
would that work ?

I've heard of alot of harddrive failures recently, whats going on?
Maybe its the power outtages in CT.
