hi there guys

I need assistance because I am out of the loop with hard drive prices these days ... what's considered a "good price" for a:

* 2TB 3.5"
* 3TB 3.5"

* 2TB 2.5"
* 1TB 2.5"

I have a bunch of these externals plugged into my pc (1x500Gb, 1x320Gb, had a 1Tb but took the HDD out and moved that into the PC) and I am starting to dislike the cables and stuff like that, so I want to consolidate them into one hdd.

I did my own searching and prices are like ~1300-1500 for a 3TB 3.5" and 2TB 2.5", ... the point is whether to wait for specials and how low do they drop?

The last time I bought anything hard drive related was in 2010.

Don't think you’re going to see any amazing specials on internals any time soon, if anything prices will go up due to the rands stellar performance :sick:

It would seem the flooding of the some HDD manufacturing plants are still affecting the HDD prices. It feels like it is increasing instead of decreasing atm.
