Hi everyone

Does anyone know where I can get one of these in Cape Town?

I have an inverter that has a single socket that requires that type of plug. I have a few from stuff like angle grinder, charger, etc. but none have the ground pins (the metals bits at the side are ground), just solid plastic on the sides.

I used to have tons from computer parts but obviously I didn't ever expect to need them, so bye they went :(

I was going to buy one from eBay but with postal delivery taking months I don't really want this 3-4 months from now.

Any help where I can find one appreciated.

Do you just want the connector?

Think I have a bunch of these at our office with kettle plug on the other end. I can check for you on Monday if they have the earth contacts.

Thanks :D Would be awesome if you have some.

And yes, just need one of them with earth pins for the connector.

Don't mind what is on the other end, I can just cut it and wire to multi-plug.

Actually just found one here at home in a box.

If you want it you can have it.

Try searching for schuko plug there are a few other places as well.

Nice find :)

I did try search but for some reason my local searching foo is not great.

I'll take up DrJohnZoidberg on his offer, if that doesn't work out, I'll just order one of those.

PM sent, that is awesome :)

Huge thanks to DrJohnZoidberg, got that plug from him.

Pretty hefty wire gauge on it also which works awesome with my inverter!

Thanks for suggestions from everyone.
