Just be careful with the Seagate 1Tb, they have been crashing due to firmware issues. Even the latest firmware didnt completely fix the problem. You can google and confirm.

I thought this was limited to the 7200.11 models only, and subsequently fixed with a firmware update?
 
I also thought that the firmware issues was only on the 7200.11 drives.
 
which drive is being sold there? .12?

Yeah just make sure. What online websites advertise and what you get might not always be the same thing, so just double check tomorrow when the package arrives :)
 
Guys, these specials aren't that special..

With the strong Rand everything will seem like a bargain in a month or two. (All orders ordered and paid for now will be very cheap when it arrives in a month or two's time)

I have a 2232 and a 226. I am looking either for another 226 or to sell my two and get two 2333s.
How much better is the quality from the 22232 to the 2333? I have noticed that the picture is better on the 226, compared to the 2232...
 
I've gone from a 2232 to the 2333.

Picture Quality is noticeably better :)
Which also means, low res content is noticeably worse :(

its sleeker tho and got a nice flower etching on the back for the inner girl in u :D

and more curvy than the 2232..

Yeah, that flower pattern is crap. I dunno what they were thinking :p

The 2333 is VESA mountable hey? And 5ms?

That's why I am looking to sell my monitors and get two of them. But if I could pick up a 226 for a good price, that would be cool as well. But then I'd need to source an original PCI card to run it :p
 
Ya, those 226's are nice. I was always reluctant to go for them though, considering the whole A,C or S panel lottery, which the 2232gw was meant to dispel. The 2232gw is supposed to carry the 226's S panel, which was the best-tuned panel in that range. So unless you can clarify which panel you'de get with the 226, take the 2232 just in case :)

Hmmm, interesting. I must have been lucky with my 226 then, cos it's awesome. My issue with the 2232 is the useless stand it comes with and the fact that it's not VESA mountable! :(
