I'm staying away from the Samsung HDD's - bought two of the 1TB specials at Kalahari when they had them - returned them both the next day as they made a really bad scraping noise - the replacements arrived a week later, plugged them in and after 5 minutes, exactly the same happened - returned a second time for a refund -- I think I'll stick to my WD's... I can't afford to lose 2TB of data!
