i phoned incredible and they said the the screen thing is running from the 4th of feb to the 7 of feb 2010. so that is from this thursday till sunday! woohoo!
 
From what I understand the discount is based on what you buy, the R800 discount is for that 27" beast regardless of what you trade in. I have a crappy old CRT which suits that purpose just fine :D
 
I was in there today, and they put one aside for me to collect in the morning as the system won't give the discount til tomorrow. Existing T260 plus this is going to look hawt on my desk.

I booked mine yesterday at the waterfront and only got it after work. The store only had 4, so i booked the first one and by the mid mornng today all the P2770H were gone. i am so glad i booked mine otherwise i would not have been able to get it. and boy is it epic! the screen is awesome. it is huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggggggggggggggeeeeeeeeeeeee

I got the Samsung 2333SW (23" full HD). Cost me R1300 with the trade in of an old 14" CRT monitor! I didn't see the point in going for the 27"

The guy in store said its very likely that they will continue the promotion throughout Feb. I guess they want everyone to rush out and buy this weekend. Sly!

I heard EXACTLY the same thing from the Sandton branch up here.
 
Anybody know if Incred. are going to be getting more stock for the promo?
