Makro has a 120G PS3 for R2979. Gonna post it on the console bargains thread also. Whoever buys it owes me 50 bucks.
 
Western Digital My Book Essential 2TB for R1702 from Kalahari.net on today's specials and I've also seen Makro are selling Toshiba 2 TB external HDD's for R1300.

What you can do is to go to game and ask them to beat the price. then it might be something like R2500 or something like that
 
I am looking for a new notebook for my girlfriend. She wants a macbook but I laughed and told her not for the amount she is willing to pay :)

I see that incredible corruption has a whole bunch of notebooks in their latest catalogue. Any of them particularly well priced? I haven't looked for a while. I suppose around R7k - 9k is the limit, would be awesome to find one with graphics processor so that I could use it for some gentle PC gaming.

Advice? Maybe the Sony VAIO 15 " for 9k

Makro has a samsung 17.3" LED laptop for R6999, check out the specs, And Com-X computers is running a 5% discount on checkout special on all toshiba's.

About the PS3 if getting it from Game, their policy is 10% of the difference. If Game has it for R3799, its gonna be R2897.(R3799- R2979= R820. 10% of R820 is R82)

was wandering around makro sunday and they were having a huge winter sale - not sure if it was for sunday only or if its ongoing, but they had sony vaios dropped from 8k to 5k and they had toshiba 2tb externals for R1250 - was going to buy one but didnt, dont really need that much space..
