I just asked a bunch of probably brain dead questions on the Proliant mega thread. Hope they all excuse the noob in me and help out. Last time I assembled anything on my own was 12 years ago. :o
 
I'll start a new thread if need be, but what do people think about the AC Ryan PlayOn!HD that Esquire have for sale? My girlfriend wants something to play her series and movies on the TV with and this looks like a great gift. Before anyone suggests a Mede8er, they're a bit out of my price range I'm afraid.

Have had one for the last 2 years. Whilst not as capable as some other players, it's very easy to use so my wife and domestic can put movies on for the kids. . Not a bad option especially for a single tv setup.
 
No need to ask anything. Just order. They'll pull what needs to be pulled ... automagically.

Pretty happy with mine - connected to one TV, play off USB sticks only, no internal drive = disconnected internal fan = super silent
 
i just want a media player and maybe one of those joysticks but that shipping amount is a bit steep, any idea what the courier amount would be ? i dont think i can make it to go in store.

Would like to confirm this as well. Tried to call Cape Town branch 3 times to talk to sales, but was cut off 3 times :mad:

Also, no response to my email.

I also tried to order 2 from Cape Town office but got no reply.
 
Ordered online. Said order was successful and to check on stock before collecting.
Assume it will come for another branch.

EDIT. Confirmed. Can collect on Monday.
