I think we should have a separate thread for bargains on hard drives. Everyone needs more hard drives, regardless of how much space you have left.

Nah, keep it all together. We are getting a Version 2 of H/B shortly in any case. We have hit the 10 000 post limit afaik.

That's considered a bargain nowadays? It used to be half that. :( Not really worth it at anything more than 2 grand to be honest.

Brilliant price. But just remember that it's not a 'real' e-reader -- because it does not have the easy-on-the-eyes eInk screen as noted above, it's more correctly a stripped-down tablet with a standard backlit LCD screen. Those who do a lot of reading will generally prefer an eInk screen because it puts less strain on the eyes. But at that price it even works as an MP3 player....

Just need a price indication of what you guys would pay for it. something fair for both me and the person i'd be selling to.

CPU - Intel Q8400 Core2Quad 2.66ghz with stock intel cooler.
Board - Intel DP45SG
RAM - 4X1GB Samsung DDR3 1333 with aftermarket coolers on.

It's used right? Fair value would be R500 or less (buyers will always give you a lower price than you think your stuff is worth).

Try to use a depreciation equation, where the price you paid is devalued by 20% of it's original value each other (maybe even 33% each year, as it's IT equipment). Also count the fact that it is used. This should give you an amount.
