a little off topic, but does it make a big difference to have a class 10 card on a cellphone or a camera?

Don't kno, I use a 32GB class 4 on my tablet, and everything appears nifty & normal. Read/write decent too.

Not sure about cellphone, my experience on a camera it does show difference with a sdhc class 10 card, it write faster and gives you less waiting period for the next photo to be taken.
 
You need to check the specs for the actual device to see if it supports the higher transfer speeds.

If you slap a Class 10 card in a device that only supports Class 4 it sure as hell ain't going to run at Class 10 speeds

... but we are way OT....
 
I was a pick n pay hyper in woodmead today. There was a DSTV walker for R250, opened. Billion adsl + wifi modem for R250, new and unopened. Was about 4-5 there.
 
Dion Wired on-line have some end of run (2012 model) Samsung TVs. Series 7s from R 7200

Have you considered checking out CNA they have some incredible deals sometimes if they clearing out units and if you have an Edgars CARD 6months plan = interest fee :)

Thank you will actually see later on today if they still have anything available. DSTV walker for R250 is actually a steal.

The class affects write speed. The read speed is pretty generic.
I prefer the higher class because recording HD video is smoother and copying stuff to my SD card is a lot faster.
With a class 4 I experience odd bits of stutter in the video while recording while it writes. On class 10 it is perfectly smooth.
 
Does anybody know of a place where the Explora is on special? I want to buy one later today. :)
