I've been looking for digital cameras around the R1200 mark. The CANON SX160 IS RED is on special for R999 at Incredible Connection. It normally retails for around R1200.

Good deal ? Can anyone recommend a better camera for my price range ?

The guys over at the photography section might help?

Also in the point and shoot entry level range there's not much different so best to go on price. (Main specs, optical zoom, focal length (lower = better), shutter speed (faster is better), sensor size will ask be the same, extras (Wi-Fi, filters, touchscreen, tilting screen, etc)

You can't compare the two, the nexus is orders of magnitude better

Absolutely. I'd even say below 3k you shouldn't consider buying a tablet at all until you can afford the Nexus or an iPad.

Anyone know of any specials on large HDD's? Looking for a 3TB+ internal, or external if it comes at a better price.

3tb western digital greens where going for 1.1k for quiet a while on Carbonite. Problematic with raid due to power saving features.

Just picked up a 120gb Seagate SSD from Incredible Connection from R1899 down to R999. Not a bad price. I paid with my discovery CC too which takes it down to about R870

The "on-board" graphics will be just as good or even better as the included VGA card

Otherwise, those PC's seem reasonably priced and spec'd.
