You can use it in your PC but if it comes without a bracket you will have to make a DIY one

You can stick a 2.5 drive in a desktop with a special bracket...its a crap idea though.

ah ok yeah it'd be pretty daft to be using a standard 2.5" in a desktop, @ OP yeah go for it, if i hadn't already bought a SSD i'd buy that one, very good deal.
