It was delivered to my place around 8AM. Packaging seems a bit cheap.

I see on the invoice there's no serial number specified? Maybe they kept a register themselves? Any idea how I can check the warranty period on my particular drive?

My pron collection is at most 30Gbs....

KSINGH : when you start developing DB stuff on an enterprise level... wait until you see how much drive space you chew up trying to get things to work in the ways you want it to....

My photography stuff is also about 150Gb and growing daily... thats what 1 of the drives is for.. giving me room to grow.
 
You're in CPT and they can't get your drive to first...

Shows how much Kalahari value their customers in their own home town.. :p

I suggest you write the serial# down on the invoice. I had a look and could not find a online place to verify warranty periods except for the India market.

Just now I looked at the HD again, it was manufacturered in April 2009.
 
Rectron are running the T260 at a relatively good dealer price today too.
 
I want one, but for no particalur reason other than it looks good. already have a samsugn 22" though so kinda tough convincing myself its necessary

Since switching to two monitors I don't think I could ever go back to one. And 2 x 26" seems a bit excessive. A lot of exercise for your neck :eek:
