The StorE Art is the one in the makro flyer. I bought one about a month ago and it has a Seagate drive

Yeah it's ok, I haven't used it much yet. There's no built in fan so it's quiet. The enclosure is glossy plastic and shows fingerprints, but other than that I have no complaints

From what I can see they are el cheapo because they have been discontinued and will only work at advertised speeds and timings, no overclocking potential at all.
Kalahari might have some story about E&OE, because that is about 1/2 price compared to other online stores

+1. Dionwired also have a bunch of specials atm starting yesterday. I wanted to go buy one of their MAIN advertised camera's but they didn't have any stock at any of the stores.How pathetic!

Just to give you okes some idea of prices, Sahara had a special yesterday: (All prices are excl. VAT)
250GB = R225
320GB = R245
500GB = R255
1TB = R435
All Samsung drives @ 5400rpm and a 3yr warranty (IIRC). These are dealer prices, not for general public, but it helps to know what the 'cost' price is of your supplier
This makes that 2TB Drive at Game look like a great deal...

Yeah this whole "specials" thing is becoming a joke in SA.
It is almost as bad as false advertising.
They just do it to get people into their stores.
