+1. Whats worse is I phoned all the stores and none of them had stock "except" one. So I drove there to go pick it up and the guy hadn't listened to what I had asked for and told me they had stock of a different camera but not what I was looking for. Needles to say I climbed down his throat feet first. So now they will deliver it to my house when they finally receive stock. I was a whole different kind of furious :mad: My wife went to hide in a different section of the store while I was "discussing" it with them :D

Yeah, well they have to learn somehow. The funny thing was the guy who I spoke to on the phone and arranged with first sent one of the female staff to tell me that they didn't have the camera that I was looking for. Needles to say I told her to tell him that he must come tell me to my face and not send someone else. Eish....sometimes I lose myself :D

Lol. It's a nice upgrade from my old Canon powershot A95. Also ordered a 16GB class 10 SD card to tie me over when it finally gets here. I wish they would get a bloody move on already! :D

Yep just phoned Game at Gateway, they have no stock or are sold out and they are not going to get more Pure BS.
Isn't there some person at Game you can phone to moan at? I need a new external HDD :(

I managed to get the 2tb toshiba HDD...
The Game in westgate @ first they said they had no stock.Spoke to the floor manager and suddenly there was stock :wtf:

Aw well just glad i got it :D
 
I phoned game menlyn about the toshiba externals. They said that only category-A shops got stock (whatever that means). I can't imagine game menlyn not being a caterogry-A shop, but anyway.

I went to hifi corp at atterbury valuemart and saw they have exactly the same toshiba drives (PA4219E-HLO), in stock, selling for R1499. I printed the game ad and asked them to match the price, but they just laughed and said that their cost price is R1100 so they can't match the price.

I guess hifi doesn't have the lowest price everyday. Yes, in their defense the whole game ad was just a publicity stunt, but anyway I guess that's that.
