Shipping is R35 with Loot, so R39 item + R35 delivery = R79. R79 / R139 = 53%.

So essentially you are getting 47% discount compared to Takealot. So unless you are new to online shopping...you can calculate the delivery cost and compare to other sites.

Otherwise, it can encourage you to buy another more expensive item to go over the R250 limit to get free delivery with Loot. This is what I did to get that same laptop cover. So I did get it for R39 without paying for shipping costs (as my order was above R250).

No ways. If you can import it, the Redmi Note 3 is leaps ahead of any comparable priced phone.

The Redmi is 2.5x the price of the Leagoo on Gearbest....so not comparably priced. It's a whole other price category....super-budget or something.

The fact that it can be used as a gaming device is a bonus, I'd have snapped one up if I can reliably confirm it can be used for streaming (at the moment it looks like only Hulu works)

Yep - same as my Huawei G620 from 2014. It's very entry level...I would think perfect for oldies and kids. 720p on a 5" phone is probably a bonus for someone with not great eyesight.
