Western Digital > Toshiba > Seagate.

Also, avoid removing the USB3.0 cable from the hard drive as far as possible to prevent the USB socket from breaking due to wear and tear.

I paid R4000 from them just before xmas so this is a great price (includes delivery). However, if you currently have a decent smartphone, you will get very frustrated with this tablet (I have an S4 and was very disappointed with the Tab 3 10.1's screen res and sluggish performance - sold it off a month later).

so that's a no then...

The Galaxy Tab 4 range is just around the corner. It's already available in the US.

Probably why these tabs are going so cheap. I must say I am waiting for a good tab too. Not in a hurry though - I've got the iPad 4 and don't think the Air is a big enough jump to justify the price.

I only have a 7" tablet so my trigger finger is itching. weird thing is that I had that page open by the confirmation of payment. had it open for a while. didn't press confirm though but I got he email confirming my order. didn't get that confirmation page on the takealot website but got the email. very weird. anyways I sent the email to cancel. the wait continues. the CC doesn't have that amount on it because I wanted to pay with my cheque card. weird.

I see the nexus 10 16gb is going for just over R3600 at Orange, free delivery. If only it was the 32gb

Thats one thing I'll always go for these days is a 32gb+ tablet, 16gb is honestly pathetic.

16GB is fine for me, I only use my tablet at home and stream from servers
