I say save up more and then spend. What are the rest of your specs? you can always try and source a i5-3570k or so. You will never get anything ne for R2K as you would have to buy new motherboard and cpu. you can get something like and AMD athlon x2 but that's not a worthwhile upgrade

Err do I need to download Mantle?

I play all sorts of things, too many to list.

A short list would be;

Skyrim, Diablo 3, Wii Emulation, PS2 Emulation, Bound By Flame, Sleeping Dogs, Saints Row 4, Naruto Shippuden 3 Full Burst.

you don't play games that uses mantle so don't worry. Battlefield 4 uses mantle. All you can do is download the latest amd drivers and hope everything works better

Most reviews that I could find (there were not many), give it about 3 out of 5. They look pretty sleek and they are over ear cans so great for a bit of noise cancellation. I reckon for that price even if it's not great it'll still be a good deal. They retail for about R400-R600 so a dirt cheap price.
