Appears to be, yes. The screen res is very pixelated on this device and my 10.1 was sluggish

So this "Daily Deal" story on Takealot - they have a 2m lightning USB cable advertised for R199, save R100!

All tablets have been sold! Hopefully next week they have better daily deals.


Did anyone manage to snag a switch did they honour the deal or cancel the order ? I noticed the page has vanished but still have it available in order history but they awaiting payment.

I chose COD as a payment method and the order is in progress.....

The deal has disappeared from their site and my order has vanished from the system.

Scratch that.. I first used the Android app to check on my order.

Logging onto the Web interface it still showed.

Just completed payment. Delivery 7 August.

Being on contract I have no use for airtime.... but a ruler, I can sort my staff out with a ruler!!
 
So with these TakeAlot daily deals; what happens when the product you've purchased is damaged, and they don't have stock for an exchange? They just give you a credit and you lose out on the deal?
 
ahhhh dang missed the TP-Link on takealot special, if anyone bought one and has realised they have no use for it, please let me know :D

Fully understand that... or they could give you the option to wait til new stock has arrived (given that it's not EOL hardware). Unfortunately the latter is in the ideal world, it seems.

This is my first disappointment with TakeAlot.

On another note; has the MyBB released the weekend bargain deals ;)
 
Any idea how CPA deals with takealot and their online deals? Isn't there something like... they have to have sufficient stock of an advertised item and if they run out of stock need to provide a similar item at the same price?
