32GB at USB2.0 speed is very painful.

I got lucky a year or so back and got a USB 3.0 32 gig (Kingston DT Ultimate G32) at a very good price from Esquire.

PS: One also has to be very careful since not all USB 3.0 flash drives are equal - I have a Verbatim USB 3.0 that performs horribly (1/3 of the speed) compared to the Kingston DT Ultimate G32

For all the PS4 peeps out there, you should know that it is cheaper to buy an external 2TB HDD and crack it open instead of buying an internal drive. I went for the Seagate Spinpoint - http://www.naschenweng.info/2014/12/12/upgrade-playstation-4-2tb-hdd/.

I ordered it from Amazon as it was substantially cheaper than anything local. If you do stumble across a Seagate Backup Plus Slim 2TB for less than R1200 I would snap it up.

Word of caution: The PS4 backup/restore sucks and you have to redownload all games/updates after the HDD upgrade. The backup/restore of save games is equally cumbersome as you have to select each game and restore individually.

Would a GParted clone not circumvent this?

Nice. Thanks for the tip

Probably, but before I UPSed my PS4 (I have it always in standbye), I think the recent load-shedding stuffed up the factory drive (every so often I had to safe-boot to rebuild). So I felt it was safer to just start over from scratch. I was disappointed though to find that you could not even bulk-backup all your save games.

Hi All,

Anyone know where I could find a LG G3 Wireless Charging Pad (or a universal one; whatever works) in SA. Orange has them, however do not have any local stock.

Got the G3 pad for my Nexus 5 at a LG store a few months ago. Pricey, but was much cheaper than the cell stores. Otherwise E-bay

Any good deals on GPUs? I need two mid range cards for 2 machines - not sure if I should wait for the new year....
