How good are these shavers? Never used one like it before. May as well get it now if it's good..
They work different than the normal shavers. When I say normal, the non-electric ones.

Instead of shaving from top to down, or in straight lines, the electric shaver you must do in circular motion until it has cut all the hairs.
Sometimes they do miss a few hairs here and there, and then you can still do final touches with a manual shaver.
The biggest feature of these for me, I can do dry shaving with minimal irritation, but most of all, the saving where I don't have to buy new blades for my manual shaver. Instead of every month, I now just buy once a year maybe if that much.

Had mine for almost 2 years. Works very well. Don't use the "wet" feature though since its a bitch to clean when full of shaving cream :p

I bought the One last week, tried it out and it gives a closer shave than the mach 3 blades since it is top down motion.

I found that it worked better with shaving cream as it was easier to shave like that.

used it once so not that much experience with it but overall a happy buy

I think it's relatively new in SA. Saw it on Zeek the other day, but it's sold out now.

Didn't know Takealot already had stock, that's quite impressive. The price isn't too bad, though it was cheaper at Zeek.

Takealot has it in stock, which means next day delivery, and the delivery fee is also included in the price.

Zeek asks R50 delivery extra with a 2-4 days delivery schedule, so at the end of the day there is not much difference in price.

Zeek's price for the 1st gen Chromecast is R695, while Takealot has it available for R468.

Spotted a couple decent deals in my Takealot Wishlist today:

Google Chromecast v1 (R449): http://www.takealot.com/google-chromecast-hdmi-streaming-media-player/PLID29422773

My goodness. Prices seem to fluctuate throughout the day.

This morning when I checked it was R468.

Received the new one this morning. The box that it came in was scratched quite badly on the corners, and the power adapter had dust on it, but the Chromecast seems to be OK. All the seals were still intact, so I don't know how that happened.

It is a little faster than the previous one, but so far I cannot really recommend it as a must-have if you have the older model.

Quite a steal @ R999 with free shipping from the app.

I used the app50 voucher for an extra R50 off

"outperforming" the s5 in what way?

Longer battery life, better bench marks, good quality screen on it, does not get hot etc.... You must also know that I have never in my life owned a high brand phone, I can just go on these results that I got from testing the two against each other with a couple of small tests, like the bench marks for instance.

You're telling us a quad core 1.3Ghz phone is outperforming another quad core 2.5Ghz phone? And a 5" 720p screen is better than 5" 1080p?

I'm dubious to say the least. Not saying the phone you have isn't perfectly adequate...just that you're suffering a slight case of confirmation bias.

Well all the bloatware Samsung adds compared to stock Android. Maybe the case
