Got a Seagate 2TB and 4TB working fine for a few years now but yeah tend to agree on add number TB drives...

The reviews are fairly mixed, the 4tb normally goes on special for 1800, and I researched it then. If it works it works well, and if it fails, it fails hard. My issue is the failure rate is too high. I have a verbatim 2tb no issues, and a Samsung 1.5tb that's 5 years old. And it's going strong too. But Seagate gets me worried.

Yip the 4TB is an external expansion which I removed and are using as an internal drive for about a year now, touch wood

Have you used it yet?
Usually they not too bad with returns. Just tell them you changed your mind. Will be easier of its still within 7 days

ya i've been using it over 7 days. wrong place at the wrong time i suppose.

That's exactly what I wanted to do, I spent about a week reading and decided not to do it, I like WD but last I read their drives encrypt everything on it, so if the enclosure fails the drive is useless.

Hitachi drives are rock solid but I don't ever see them on special..

Great thanks, I do like the concept of the Chromecast but I think the Roku SE on sale Black Friday for $25 is the better option, for people considering the buy.

Would also like the Roku SE, but where are you going to buy it from? Didn't Amazon stop selling the Roku's after launching their own device?

Well that's unfortunate, I thought it was a Amazon deal, now I see it's from the Roku website itself, guess that's not a option anymore.
