We'll most like only see the prices drop (if that ever happens) once the Rand has stabilized a bit more. It's fluctuating quite a lot still, even if the trend shows it strengthening.

you will only see price adjustments around May / June as many importers already paid for goods that just came in or still arriving , unless it is with air freight , such Flash Drives Flash memory , but with larger items around May / June

If you importing now is the time to take Forward Cover


Btw we have some really great pricing this month with lots of price drops

You're assuming the distributors didn't absorb the R16/$ levels.

My iPhone 5 is more than 3 years old. Still getting updates. No problems. Battery is not what it used to be but very manageable. Although the new stuff is pretty. Getting ready to fight with the wife. Told her I'm not upgrading her contract at renewal. Got the 'are you crazy?' Look. So work to do on that front still.

I kind of get that, but if you're still paying the contract you're just giving the upgrade money to the provider for free. I know someone who was due an upgrade for 2 years and never got it because they were 'cheap', but actually they were paying off a phone they never got.

I guess thats true. Either cancel the contract or renew without increasing the contract price and sell the phone if its not to your fancy.
