Hardware clash

I am working on an acer 1670 and the pcmcia Novatel wireless merlin u740 is clashing on this laptop

I get the following error message as soon as I plug it in:IQL_not_equal

When the pc boots again I get the following Clash on slot 3 bus 2 device 2 function 0.

I really need to get this vodacom 3G working, plz help
