Hey Everybody

I just had a look around the hardware forum, and noted how many people have old hardware, especially monitors they wanted to get rid off. Do you guys know of any charity that collects various PC parts, make complete PC out of them, and then give them to charity organizations?

no, but I collect new parts and donate them to "a worthy cause"

I'm looking for parts for a charity in Hout Bay at the moment if anyone has an old PIV or similar that will run SQL Express.

Even if it's just the mobo and cpu I have the rest.

With my last upgrade, I donated my oldest PC to the Durbanville Children's Home. They have their own computer centre with lots of donated computers.

I have a ton of old stuff in my garage... so if you know of somebody in Joburg.
