What system specs are you guys running?

I've got an aging AMD A64-3500+ with 1GB of RAM & a X850XT, I've always had a bit of lag when playing but now that I'm online it's getting quite frustrating when one second you've got your guns locked on the enemy and then a couple of jerky frames later you're lying on the floor screaming for a medic.

Would an extra gig of RAM make any difference? I'm not really interested in a full upgrade just yet as I'm really enjoying console gaming but since having my ADSL installed I'm really digging BF2 online.

Also, are there any good 'legal' interface mods/tweaks? You know, like isolate messages to you personally in a different colour etc?

fudzy when u play online you need to drop your settings lower than when you played SP

you need more memory without doubt, 2 gig should be fine

your setup should run bf 2 on medium pretty easily
