That being said, I just upgraded to i7-2600K P67 Sandy Bridge last week... Not regretting it at the moment - hell, this is fast (on SSD now as well). I really don't see the point in wasting months of my life away waiting for the new tech to get out... but in the same light it always sucks knowing that within a few months there's going to be something miles ahead of me on the market again.
If you had R10-15k to blow on hardware now and only had a Socket 775 dual/quad core with 2-4GB of DDR800 RAM on you at the moment, would you wait for the hardware described in this article to become affordable probably only half way through 2012, or would you go sandy bridge now?
How about country-wide LTE implementation? That will be hardware worth looking forward to![]()
