Any1 using these which is better? hav no idea, as far as i know the specs are the same???

had one of those, they are crap!!!!! it a mission to setup right....
 
Ha ha ... yeah, I know. What I have at the moment is awesome ... it is some Genius remote control ... from esquire. Not sure what model, and haven't seen them there anymore. It is completely programmable, and touchscreen LCD (The calculator kind). You can can choose different kinds of buttons on the touch screen such as turn the play button picture into a stop button picture or something. Also, if it does not have a preset setting for a remote ... you can manually program it in using the infrared receiver in the bottom of the remote. It also has Macro functionality. We got it for like R300 or R400.

what's the model number? let try find it, and see how much they go for?

I just spoke to Emile at Esquire Milnerton branch he says that the Esquire durban branch has the last 2 units of these remotes in stock and they wont be getting anymore as Genius no longer produces them the price is R 399 excl and he is willing to get to cpt
now that is what i call service-I dont about you guys but lately the servive levels here in Cpt has improved since they opened the Express shopping store in that branch.
it is pity that they keep running out of stock as they prices are also keen and everytime i need something from the specials they keep running out of stock.btw stock code for the remote is #31020077100

Got the 895 and it is fantastic. Not sure about the 555 or 525
