Has anyone had any success in repairing the buttons on a harmony remote once they stop making contact properly? I've seen stories about using pencils or conductive paint... Anyone tried any of this? Where can I get conductive paint? Pondering even trying to glue some tinfoil to the contacts....

Which model, just opening and cleaning the contacts with alcohol worked for me a couple of years back.

The one I fixed with alcohol was a 650.
Contacts in the circuit board are clean. The conductive surface on the buttons is worn off.
I wish Logitech hadn't pulled them out of SA :(

I have a spare one in its box, bought when Logitech said they are leaving SA.

Bastid :)

Gyppoed it by wedging a bit of tinfoil in place. Can't get anything to stick to the button. Works ok for now

Please let us know how shipping goes and customs and post office and government and money and and and
Have bought off Amazon before
They take a customs deposit as part of the order. Customs charge was less than expected so they refunded me. Shipping took 2 weeks iirc, did not come via post office

Ja. Oh well.
A thingy of conductive paint looks like about R250, so I extrapolated. The 600 has lasted me about 10 years now if I remember right.

Getting sars refund this month, and a 31 day occupancy of the BnB payment later this week, so going all out :p

Got the 650 too, so far no problems with the buttons.. touch wood. Round about 5 years old now.

That Harmony Ultimate looks good.

I also find myself itching for a harmony hub.

Good old rubbing alcohol to start with make sure it's clean.

Failing that...good old foil.
