Harry Aucamp joined the group (MNET) in 1987 as an IT consultant. He joined permanently in 1992 and was part of the development team to develop MultiChoice Africa's Pay-TV operations in sub-Saharan Africa from 1994 onwards. He then took up the position of GM at MultiChoice Namibia in 1997 to 2000 and established MWEB Namibia during this period. He then joined the MWEB Africa office as the business development manager and took up the position of GM MWEB Africa Support Office in Cape Town in 2002 supporting the MWEB's businesses in sub-Saharan Africa, which currently includes the joint ventures in Namibia, Zimbabwe and Nigeria.
