I want to dl a really huge file 2.5gig. I was hoping to go easy this month and have about 2gig free by the 30th. Start the dl and have it run into next month. Has anyone tried this? My greatest fear is that I'll hit the cap and the dl will be interupted forcing me to restart.

Most ADSL users do this. Basically, start your download early in the morning of the last day of the month and make sure to disconnect early in the morning on the first day of the month.

Don't let it run too far into the next month - your ADSL line automatically disconnects every 24 hours - I'm not 100% sure what time this happens, as I don't leave my line connected when not using it - I think it's early morning.

You can use a download manager like Getright (http://www.getright.com/).
You can stop and resume downloads. To monitor your usage try DUmeter (http://www.dumeter.com/).

I would like to do that but unfortunately this a download from blizzard and they use their on peer to peer connection for dl
