Education is free in Germany, but amid teacher shortages and poor performance ratings, more parents are opting to send their kids to private schools. Will soon only wealthy families be able to afford a good education?

Everywhere you have Socialism, this is one of the first things that fail. The roll-over effect of this, in coming years, is that Germans will not be in a position to assemble a BMW, a VW, an Audi, a Merc or whatever, let alone building parts and then assembling it. Soon South African politians and blue light brigades will be driving around in entry-level Tata's

.......driving around in entry-level Tata's
Bought at X5 prices?
Extra rake-off for the comrades.

You don't have to be smart, you just have to be the smartest relatively speaking.

so private roads then

Its not Socialism, Communism, Capitalism, or any other "Ism" that fails, those are just abstract ideological projections in minds, look at the people in control, yes they are humans like you.......Check where you look for selutions to work.

One way to create a teacher shortage is to add more people.
Another way is for teachers to find lucrative teaching posts overseas. Or have less people considering teaching as a career or...

Of course, it must be the immigrants.

Not Covid vaccines killing the teachers off? Surprised you missed that angle.
Perhaps it explains why champion of the downtrodden, emperor of the land of the Rus, is accepting them in droves and not covertly driving them out.

Education is free in Germany,...

Cape councillor on Milei reforms....

Newly elected Argentinian President, Javier Milei just passed the most sensible law in world history - known as Articulo 209.
Governmental institutions can no longer use the word "free" to promote any state service or function in municipal provinces or on a national level.

Milei considers the use of the word “free” a lie and feels citizens shouldn’t be lied to since the services are always paid by someone, typically from taxes.

If this were implemented in RSA, the ANC would literally not be able to campaign anymore! His sweeping reforms include reducing the amount of Government departments.
My emphasis added.
