Hi guys, I recently bought a new pc, and have been getting lots of problems with it (most of which was fix-able in the end
)
Anyway, I have a partition with my old Windows XP on it and then a partition with Windows Vista...
I have just finished installing updates on Vista, and when I restarted, I had no sound, only "white noise" (lots of it, whenever sound was supposed to play)..
So : I thought it must've been the updates, so I re-installed Vista...
NO Change...
So I tried booting up in my old XP installation, still the same problem...
I live in Bloem, but bought my pc in Jhb, so I have to be certain that something's wrong before I send my pc up...
Is there any way of knowing whether my onboard sound is broken??
How would I know for sure?
(I went into my Control Panel=>System=>Device Manager , but found no ewrror there, everything seemed to be working fine???)
