Has vodacom somehow duplicated my order ?

decided to get another data contract last thursday.
jumped thru the hoops bla bla bla.

i get a text confirming my request for a new contract.
more hoop jumping, authorising debit order, yadda yadda yadda.
later i get an email confirming all is good to go.
a while later i get a text from the courier regards delivery.

this morning i get another text from vodacom "confirming my request for a new deal" - with a different reference number.
a new text with a new reference number seems to me like a 2nd / duplicate contract is somehow happening.
