Has webmail been hacked

I can't access my webmail account since 20th August 2021.
I tried doing the reset password option and it refused my answers
I filled in their contact us page with all details including my cell number and email account in question.

tonight i got an email from them copied the email below

Good Day

Please read the following carefully,

For your account to work again we may have to do a password reset.

For security reasons please provide the answers to the following questions
in order

1) Your date of birth
2) When was the account created or last accessed (please specify which when
answering, eg : created 01/01/2021 or accessed 01/01/2021)
3) The email address you are trying to access

Failure to answer the questions will require additional emails delaying the
process.

If it is an alternative problem please provide the details.

We will reply to you as soon as possible as we try to resolve the problem.

Please note that Facebook is experiencing hacks and linked accounts are
being affected.
Also please be aware should you have received any requests to update or
expand your storage on your webmail account that these are fraudulent
emails.

the email addy used from their side - [email protected]
when i searched the www.iface.co.za domain it came back as parked domain

anybody else with webmail issues?

Webmail?
 
Mine went all stupid a while ago. Also tried resetting the password and eventually had to get hold of them telephonically to sort it out..
 
Tried reset password and now it says my email does not exist.

do you have the number i could call them on
 
We are experiencing high volumes of queries by users being unable to access their accounts.
Please be patient as we resolve the issue and attend to all support mails received

That's literally a massive banner on the homepage.

Once you get up and running you need to move everything over to gmail or some other decent mail provider.

So many threads on here about webmail, they are a useless mail provider.

Actually this is the first time I've had a hassle in about 15 years...
 
It seems that im not far off from what im asking.
Been trying to reach webmail since 9am this morning.
 
About a year or two ago I couldn’t access my account. I barely check it. Had to re-register using the same email address and all my details and emails were there.

Ya, crazy.

Did you ever manage to resolve this? I am having the same issue now.

I'm also unable to access my web mail. I've been moving all my accounts over to Gmail over the years, but unfortunately some are still on my webmail address. Emailed support and have been told they should be able to sort it out by Thursday.
 
I have tried to login mine and it says my account is inactive and when i tried to reactivate it, i put my users and password and it requested my cell phone, now its wants me subscribe for about R470 quarterly. Since when did webmail.co.za started charging even without warning us?

They started spamming us with emails that they were going to charge for the accounts I think in November last year. I used to have an account with them from the beginning. Not prepared to pay for their kukmail account. Always used it as a backup now moved over to an alt gmail account.
