Hi folks,
So, I've been using my i3 laptop for web design lately and although it's served me well, it's not exactly the i5 desktop I have used in the past. Naturally, I'm looking to upgrade. Ideally, I want an i7 desktop (desktop - because I don't want to spend too much and I'm interested in getting 3 monitors). I can get a new i7 desktop at a fairly good price (complete for around R5500) or I can opt for a skylake and build the PC myself (not ideal). In the latter scenario, I would have to purchase a motherboard, case, CPU, RAM etc separately and it'll amount to around R10250. That's pretty much double
Is it really worth having a Skylake i7 as opposed to a Haswell i7? Right now I'm leaning towards the cheaper option...
Any advice will be appreciated!
