Hauwei discovery app sync issues

Hi , is anyone having sync issues with their discovery app and hauwei health, I connected everything but it says it’s not synced. I waited for days for any data reflection and nothing, I installed and deleted then reinstalled, still the same. Surely other must be having the same issue. I have Gt watch and Mate 20 pro. Neither syncs. My old Samsung synced perfectly well with discovery and the Samsung health app.

Hi All, I found a solution:

The issue that I picked up is that when you link the Huawei app on the Discovery app if you type in your incorrect Huawei password it doesn't tell you that the password is incorrect it just says the app is linked (when it actually isn't) . I therefore updated/changed my Huawei password and de-linked and re-linked the Huawei app on the Discovery app. When I typed in the correct Huawei password it took my to a Discovery Vitality confirmation page and there was an additional confirmation code.

Do this step on the Huawei app before re-linking the app again : Me - Settings -Privacy Settings -Share devices and app usage data should also be turned on.

As a check to see if the apps are actually linked: Go to the Huawei health app - Me - Click on your name at top of screen - Privacy Centre - Control account access - you should see that the Discovery app is allowed access.
If it doesn't show the Discovery app here you typed in your incorrect Huawei password when linking the apps.

After syncing the Huawei Health app it took 3 hours to show that is was successfully synced on the Discovery app.
 
After a whole year of trying to sort out the issue i came across your post. Thank you this helped. It was the password all along that was wrong.
 
I have a Samsung A22 and Huawei Watch Gt2e. It was working and syncing perfectly till Dec 2021.since then the apps is not loading and syncing my data to Discovery. Also the HMS core keeps crashing.

Can anyone assist?
