Have you ever contributed to a crowdfunding campaign on platforms like Kickstarter or Indiegogo?

I can't wait for it to release in 2061.

Since Star Citizen, and though it is a work in progress, I have been reluctant to give more... on a side note, they have hardly met their Kickstarter goals set back in the day.

I was also going to throw money at Space Venture, happily, I didn’t. It is also a work in progress since 2012 though I do understand their delays though it may be a bit emotional.

The one game I really wished to back was Star Control: Origins through Stardock’s Founder Program, but it is was way too expensive, it is now pre-orderable at an reasonable price.

I will unreluctantly throw money at Little Big Adventure 3, but alas, I don’t think that Gloomywood wants to develop the game anymore.

A couple of times.

Torment, Satellite Reign, Star Citizen, Grim Dawn, and a token $1 backing for a sticker UI book by some friends of mine.

Heh...same here.
Was so excited about receiving it.
Was do disappointed by it.

Eh it was fun to play with at the time. I did not have huge expectations so I enjoyed playing with it for a while and shelved it.

When was the last time you used it?

Sold it a few months after getting it.

Ah fair enough. I fired mine up a while ago and with all the updates and integration that has happened since back then it has gotten better but still only as a trinket to play around with...

Edit: Did you ever see any of the projects Elon Musk used it for?

Once, les D’Artagnan. They crowdfund to renovate castles in France and you become part owner.
