Not true:

Well some good grooming could already make a big difference. And it does show confidence, self respect, etc. No one can help if they have an ugly face, but then atleast make sure you are always clean and neat, look after your body, wash your hair, maybe put on some eyelashes if you must It does show you take care of yourself, even though you might not be very pretty naturally. An ugly faced person looks much better if they dress decently and maybe work out a little than the same ugly faced person who is overweight and scruffy.

Not hating on fat people, since I am one of them... Just saying you can help the rating you get, at least a little

But the same token, a dirty, unkempt but "good looking" person can be, and is, equally unappealing. Because the part that is unattractive has nothing to do with their looks.

I thought that was only in movies and stuff.

Stop degrading women by putting some kind of "hotness" rating against them. Sheesh

Sad thing is we often imitate what we see in movies. And females must admit, we rate guys as well, but definitely in a more complex way.
