Have you noticed the few complaints on technical problems the last week or so?

The only one I'm aware of is the L3 cable thing that the gamers complain about, but which should be fixed as soon as the ship is in position.

Most complaints are about paper issues - accounts and other admin.

Even on HelloPeter the complaints are in general not technical, but paper related.

I'm quite sure lots is being done to get the paperwork also up to speed!

Seems as if the new man at the top is doing something right!

er, no.
gamers had/have had that problem for like 25 days now

but ye, you do need like a bsc in ancient languages to figure out your bill =/

if only they had some sort of key at the bottom lol

You mean aside from basic inability to resolve website because of hilarity with DNS and outbound mail being less outbound and more stuck in your outbox than anything else?

That said, they are at least (attempting to) addressing these things ..and being SEEN to address them.

IMHO iburst have been quite stable lately. 2 towers in Bloemfontein were down Saturday before the rugby and sometime a week ago. Regarding the rest, I am a very happy customer (if only the capped speeds were higher **cough cough**).

So a big thank you to all the people kicking arse and a good luck to those who have been kicked on the arse.

I Have to agree. The general feel has been enjoyable over the past few weeks.

O.o

Well I'm not sure about you guyz but I have had problems with iBurst for just about a full year now, since the day I got it, on top of that I know people who have had it much longer than I have and their connection has never been fast or reliable.

I don't think its a problem with the sat3 cable so much as what iBurst is saying, my friend has an adsl account that gets routed through sat3 and he never sees his ms go higher than 600ms and here I am with iBurst with a constant latency of between 800ms and 3000ms.

Over the past year I have been calling iBurst and sending them emails, I know I'm not the only one and what happens?... Nothing, we don't see our connection change for the better. Which is what bothers me a bit when people say things like "it cant be poor iBurst's fault that the connection we have is laggy' ... um, yes it is. If you pay them and the connection is slow or is not as advertised it is their fault and they are supposed to start investigations immediately after people complain, not wait a few weeks/months/years.

iBurst needs to come to terms with reality on this one, whenever you see an add for iBurst it says fast reliable 24/7 internet, which is currently a lie. They keep signing people up to their service (I have heard reports on base station overloading aka. too many people being connected through one station). I only ever see iBurst getting worse and I don't think they try at all to solve these problems because whenever I contact them they tell me that there is no problem with their service and that no one has complained about a slow connection on iBurst, literally every time I contact them they tell me there have been no complaints about slow services.

So please, instead of saying iBurst is trying their best which is obviously not true, just demand better services from them continuously. The extra pressure on them should help and it wont be good for their company if large numbers of people are openly unhappy with their horrific service.

There has been no improvement from what I can see in the stability and speed of the iBurst service over the past year, its gotten worse.

To put it in a very simple way: this would not happen in a country like Sweden or USA, the ISP would make sure the problem is fixed and their customers are happy, I dont see iBurst doing any of this, they seem more interested in lying to their customers.

...since inception (when handed over to local technicians)- nothing has changed, service in all aspects are just getting worse - best to choose another service.
