I have decided to get my 5GB Imagine-IPS Account to a 1GB account. I'm going to do this to get Telkom's Do Broadband Level 3 Closer. I'll only save R3 a month but this way I can get Telkom's relaxed capping policy(for downloading) and Imagine's Unshaped(for gaming). This get's me about 1GB to 4GB more a month.

Does Telkom allow me to have to have another ISP?
If I get another modem, can I have one ISP on one and another ISP on the other modem?

Thanks in advanced :)

It seems that on the Do package you're stuck with TelkomInternet as your only ISP choice.

Telkom DO Broadband 1

does the 1gb inlclude a soft cap policy or hard capped at 1GB?

I have 3 ADSL isp's, one of them telkom, and they're being used simultaneously.

bwana - is that on the Do Broadband packages?
No - but after scouring the do-do website I can't see any indication that it would be any different.

bwana - the way I read this, I am more than willing to guess that the Do Broadband packages are limited to a TelkomInternet ISP.

EDIT: If the Telkom people who told Boramk that are correct, then the Do Broadband packages have some value after all.

I saw that page but it doesn't expressly rule it out. It would be kind of pointless of them to try it.

they told me it's alright if I have two is why I just chose the do Broadband :p

Well I suppose it would not be outside of the realm of possibilty for Telkom to provide misinformation either way
