having problems. need advice plz

Hi there. im a friend of kameelperdza. i have a nvidia geforce 8400gs graphics card. I have the problem of games that is lagging but some of them dont even lagging on my onboard but it is lagging on my graphics card. so i haven"t installed directx 10 on my pc that came with the cd. is there any solution that you guys have for me plz. is the msi nvidia 8400gs a good cardi i paid R500 for the card a month ago, and yeah the games whas lagging on win xp but havent tried windows 7 because the say the card is ment to be playd on windows vista or windows 7.

8400gs is a budget card and is not going to get you playing on the heavy demanding games. Try turning some GFX options down and the resolution lower. I find AA x# slows the card down a hell of a lot on the smaller cards.

BTW what card are you running that is onboard?, although its onboard it might be that of a design that pumps out more oompf. If the onboard is anything close to a GT its going to do better than the GS

Yes...the 8400GS might even be worse than an onboard...

a 2nd hand 4650 is also R600 brand new and its like 5 times better
